SUCH AN AMAZING INTRODUCTION TO THE COMIC BOOK WORLD FOR ME.

So, I purchased 6 separate tickets to see the world-renowned film Black Panther, and have seen it on Netflix a smooth 3-4 times also. For someone who casually indulged in anything close to the comic book world only though the excitement of friends interests - its a push that turned into such an amazing experience that I only wish I had more money to see in theaters. I have intentionally been trying to read more as of late and everyone comes to their own specific literature niche. WELL BITCH I HAVE. FOUND. MINE.

Without giving any real spoilers, this is Shuri’s story apart from just being T’Challa’s lil smart sister. This is HER journey of taking her full form of this new iteration in an ‘Ancient Future’ series channeled and orchestrated by Nnedi Okorafor, Leonardo Romero, Jordie Bellaire with the help of Ta-Nehisi Coates (OF COURSE. WOW)

For those who love the Black Panther world, who love to see more Black Womxn be better represented as the Queens and Royalty that they are, and for those like me who are also just beginning to venture into the comic book world - THIS IS YOUR SHIT HUNTY.

And plus, its a comic book. You’ll read it in like 15-20 min. tops. with breaks to take a step back.

P.S. Book 2 is out NOW somewhere. And Book 3 comes out some time December 2018 I believe.

P.P.S. I heard on the podcast The Read that there’s like a 6th grade teacher in Chicago teaching a Wakanda curriculum or something. Somebody look more into it and lets build.
